The Neowsletter - September 2026
Alright, this Neowsletter is coming in a little later than usual, but the team is back from our break!
We visited the historied city of Barcelona and ate all the tapas, walked through all the Gaudís, and navigated its winding gothic quarters for silly trinkets.
The team’s rested up and has resumed work on tons of secret features, game modes, content, bug fixes, and quality of life improvements.
While we still can’t give a specific timeline or details for the next patch, rest assured that the things we’ve got cooking are BIG and much of it is already being actively tested internally. This Neowsletter may be on the smaller side overall as we get back into our groove, but we do have a new teaser via an iconic returning segment…
Spire Spotting
Intrepid explorers, it has been quite a while since we last enlisted your aid in our research! For those of you who were around more than half a year ago, waiting for the Spire to open its gates to prospective slayers once more, this task will be familiar.
In exciting news, our researchers have discovered another area of the Spire still shrouded in darkness. Before we explore it fully, it would be prudent of us to get a lay of the land first. And it just so happens that we’ve already detected the silhouette of one of its inhabitants…
Interesting… it appears to be some sort of small, floating, excitable being. Though this isn’t the most scientific of descriptors, it seems almost… cute!
It may be a while yet until this strange section of the Spire will fully reveal itself to us, but we can discover at least some of its secrets in the meantime. Help us decipher the true form of this mysterious creature by submitting your artistic hypotheses via [email protected] or in our Discord’s fanart channel by Thursday, October 8th!
